Key Responsibilities:

Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps, motors, actuators etc. Daily boiler room & plant checks. Maintaining commercial kitchen plant & equipment. Carry out works on LV electrical installations, including install, fault finding & general maintenance. Undertaking scheduled installations & maintenance on the above. Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment. Managing stock & supplies of equipment, sourcing materials from local suppliers and manufacturers. Oversee contractors. Technical support to colleagues & assisting other staff members. Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard. Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality. Liaise regularly with managers, supervisors & colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to the client at all times. Provide a highly customer-focused service to the company and client at all times. Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety. Any other duties as and when required. Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities:

BEng or level 2 diploma particularly in mechanical, production or electrical engineering. 18th Edition IEE wiring Requirements. Sound numerical ability for measuring and making calculations. Have recognised C&G, NVQ qualifications. Knowledge of current Building Regulations. A thorough understanding of Health and Safety standards. Experience in building or facilities maintenance. The relevant technical knowledge. A professional approach with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality. Significant proven experience. Full clean UK driving licence. Personal Attributes:

Strong time management, organisation and planning skills. High level of written and verbal communication skills across all levels. Enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to use their initiative. Highly flexible and adaptable - ability to work overtime on weekdays and weekends as & when required. Can work under pressure with the ability to meet strict deadlines. Highly professional and presentable. Able to work well in a team and unsupervised. Extremely confidential and discreet.
