The role If you are an engineer that is willing to work towards becoming an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, then we'd love to hear from you. We can train you in the electrical or mechanical side. The person and their potential are more important to us than your current experience. Our salary range is wide as we expect a wide range of experience and abilities; any offer would be made judged on these factors. Main responsibilities and duties Fault-finding and diagnosis of rotating electrical machines (Motors, pumps, fans, etc.) Analysis of repair versus replace Carry out maintenance and repairs of rotating equipment Adherence to Health and Safety protocol Teaching provided for the refurbishment and rewinding of electric motors and generators About you: A desire to know how things work Fault-finding, troubleshooting mindset Customers are a blessing, not a problem attitude Basic computer skills required Team player Desired Profile Knowledge of rotating machinery and electrics would be useful but not essential UK Driving License Willingness to work outside of normal working hours if required (very rare) Recognised apprenticeship preferred Proven track record Excellent problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration skills Benefits 20 days holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays) Contribution to workplace pension scheme Training and career development Bereavement leave Company events Maternity leave Paternity leave Life insurance Sick pay by agreement with manager Job Type:
