Here at Sealed Tight Solutions we are looking for a candidate who has a good understanding of mechanical engineering and operating machinery. The candidate will be trained and also work alongside a senior engineer daily.
Job Summary:
Preparing and operating machines
Understanding specifications of the task
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
(NON CNC) Experience in Lathes, Milling, welding - Tig, Mig, Electric, Gas
The Person:
Mechanically biased maintenance engineer
Previous experience working on light machinery
Working knowledge of extrusion process (desirable but not essential) - training to be provided
Good communication skills
Can-do attitude
Self-motivated with a problem-solving outlook
Ability to work in a fast-paced business, both independently and as part of a small team
