Mechanical Building Services Engineer - Brand new SMART Building
£45,000 Basic Salary + 25 Days Holiday + Overtime + Career Progression + Pension
A globally recognised FM organisation has secured the contract for a brand new commercial office building based in the Reading area and is on the lookout for a mechanically biased building services engineer to join the team. Being a brand new building, expect state-of-the-art equipment and a super sustainable building with SMART technology.
The role will involve working within a 2-man team overseeing the planned and reactive maintenance of a large commercial office complex, working on a rotating Monday to Friday basis on a 7am - 4pm and 9am - 6pm schedule. Responsibilities include overseeing a range of equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps, chilled water systems, plumbing, BMS systems, water treatment (legionella), air source heat pumps, as well as general building services equipment.
Minimum Requirements: Ideally, candidates should hold a relevant mechanical/plumbing qualification and have at least 3 years of experience working within the building services sector.
