Position Overview The Mechanical Engineer will work within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team, supporting water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom. We are looking for an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join us at our Dumfries branch. In this job you will… Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites. Carry out site inspections and fault finding, compiling survey reports for quotation purposes. Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment. Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage). Work away from home regularly, requiring overnight stays. Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion. Collaborate as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
