Anderselite are looking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide engineering expertise and support in the day-to-day management of engineering issues. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, working both independently and collaboratively with the team to meet the required objectives.

As a key member of the engineering department, you will apply your technical knowledge and experience to support the delivery of services to our clients. You will work closely with the department manager and take ownership of your projects to ensure timely delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Support:

Provide engineering expertise to support the management and resolution of engineering issues on a day-to-day basis. Project Management:

Oversee and contribute to the management of projects, ensuring that they meet time, cost, and quality targets. Project Monitoring:

Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance, track progress, and provide accurate cost forecasts. Information Sharing:

Ensure that all project-related information is effectively communicated within the business and to stakeholders in a timely manner. Standards Compliance:

Ensure that all engineering aspects of the project are carried out in accordance with applicable standards and best practices. Vehicle Surveys:

Conduct detailed and accurate vehicle surveys to inform the development of concepts, designs, and modification instructions. Production Planning:

Participate in production planning meetings and provide engineering input to support decision-making. Ad-hoc Responsibilities:

Take on additional tasks as required by line managers to support the success of the engineering department.
