Our client is a leading food manufacturer known for delivering high-quality products to customers. They are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to support their maintenance and engineering teams, ensuring smooth operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across their production facilities. Key Responsibilities: Leading and managing the engineering team to maintain and improve plant equipment and machinery. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Collaborating with production teams to optimize processes, drive efficiency, and reduce costs. Managing capital projects, including new equipment installation and facility upgrades. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to food safety and equipment maintenance. Developing training programs to upskill engineering staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Overseeing budget management for the engineering department. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field). Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
