Mechanical Engineer / Building Services Engineer required
for our client, they are a well known and reputable mechanical and electrical contractor based in the East Grindstead area. They have been in business for over 50 years, turnover over 50m a year, and currently employed over 350 members of staff. They currently require the Static Mechanical Engineer / Building Services Engineer to join the team in East London.
Mechanical Engineer / Building Services Engineer Responsibilities
- Semi-static position with primary location being an NHS site close to Hackney with occasion requirement to attend other NHS sites local to the East London area. - Maintenance and repairs to mechanical plant room systems including hot and cold water systems, AHU's, heat exchangers, fan coil units, pumps, valves, HIU's, pipework etc - General building services requirements include fire alarm checks, monitoring BMS systems, emergency lighting checks and repairs, legionella testing etc. - Reactive maintenance / breakdown work of mechanical and building services systems
Mechanical Engineer / Building Services Engineer Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar position - Knowledge and experience in repair and maintenance to mechanical plant and building services systems - Previous experience working within healthcare sites would be seen as advantageous - Full UK driving licence
Mechanical Engineer / Building Services Engineer Remuneration
- Salary 40,000 - 45,000 - Mon - Fri (40 Hours) - Call out 1 in 6 weeks - 25 Days Holiday + BH (Further 5 days available for purchase) - Pension (4%) - Company Van - Overtime available - Full package to be discussed as part of the interview process
