Our client is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team!
Mechanical Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
Create folding, bushing, and drawings and jig designs from existing files to assist manufacturing.
Conduct New Product Introduction (NPI) investigations.
Instruct and implement new manufacturing methods directly to router/works orders.
Review existing manufacturing processes and implement improvements, monitoring production to ensure quality.
Provide quotes when necessary to aid in the understanding of the NPI process and if commercial demand requires additional resources on quoting.
The Ideal Mechanical Engineer Will:
Be proficient in 3D modelling software and CAD software.
Be able to develop solid models to create flat blank DXF and supportive engineering drawings from customer's solid model files.
Having worked in a hands-on role would be beneficial.
Completed a technical (engineering-related) apprenticeship, engineering course, or (Diploma/Degree) etc.
