£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Type:

My client is a consultancy within the Building Services industry, UK based and growing. They are looking for a new Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team.
The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Have a background in sheet metal A background within Building Services BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar 5 or more years of industry experience working in similar mechanical focused roles Have previous experience within building services, consultancy work or similar Experience in MEP project work Willingness to travel for the job if needed Proven ability to drive Engineering development Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge The ability to understand system requirements Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Mechanical Engineer role will involve:
Working within a multi-disciplinary team Perform development activities and find new mechanical solutions Producing the relevant documentation that is required Driving continuous improvement Design Brief & Performance Specifications / Drawings Working with Mechanical and Electrical Contractors AutoCAD and Revit Modelling Lighting Design Project Management Being responsible for Maintenance Manuals & Building Log Books
