Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various engineering software tools. This role involves designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.

Duties

Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. Conduct simulations and analyses using tools such as MATLAB and Simulink to validate designs. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precision in designs. Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues effectively. Create and interpret schematics for mechanical systems and logic controllers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software components. Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, test results, and modifications made during the development phase. Participate in product testing, evaluation, and refinement to enhance performance and reliability. Experience

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential. Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, MATLAB, Simulink, LabView is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in designing complex systems is preferred. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in mechanical systems is advantageous. Previous experience in a similar role or industry will be considered an asset. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various disciplines.
