Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing of mechanical and fluidic systems. The role requires a strong understanding of fluid dynamics, machinery, and ISO13485 standards. This role will encompass the whole product lifecycle, from conception through to final delivery to customers, and will mainly focus on the automation of systems and processes that are currently done manually.

Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical and fluidic systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform fluid dynamics analysis and simulations to optimise system performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and fluidic components into overall product design. Conduct testing and validation of mechanical and fluidic systems to ensure reliability and efficiency. Document design specifications, test results, and technical reports in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications / Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering & Design, fluid dynamics, and working with machinery. Experience of taking a project from conception, through to R&D, main development and then final delivery to clients. Strong knowledge of ISO13485 standards and their application in product development. Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for fluid dynamics analysis. Any experience of Risk Assessments, FMEA's etc would also be handy.

Day-to-day Design, Development, Analysing and refining designs using CAD software. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and fluidic components into product designs. Conducting fluid dynamics analysis and simulations to optimise system performance. Testing and validating mechanical and fluidic systems to ensure compliance with quality standards. Documenting design specifications, test results, and technical reports.
