Client
I am working with an exceptional client who is highly regarded within the industry. This role will play a crucial part in a state-of-the-art facility. My client is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to the team.
Package
Job: Mechanical Engineer
Shifts: Monday to Friday double days
Salary: GBP42,400 + 10% matched pension
Location: Runcorn
Role
Comply with health and safety policies and regulations.
Carry out risk assessments with relevant personnel and implement controls to minimize risks to acceptable levels.
Lock off any dangerous machinery immediately or repair and notify.
Resolve breakdowns, carry out preventive maintenance, and work on projects/improvement works to minimize production downtime.
Requirements/Experience
Time-served fully skilled engineer with appropriate qualifications.
Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred).
Experience with Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
