Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Saffron Waldon Salary: Up to £44,500 per annum + Overtime & On-Call Allowance Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong plumbing expertise to join our team, looking after a data centre and two commercial office sites. This role offers opportunities for training, progression, and additional earning potential through overtime and on-call allowances. Key Responsibilities Performing reactive maintenance and scheduled PPMs. Carrying out HVAC maintenance and general mechanical engineering duties. Installation and maintenance with a focus on plumbing systems. Requirements Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or Level 3 Plumbing qualifications are required. Experience in plumbing installations is highly desirable. Previous experience in a commercial or data centre environment is beneficial. Additional Benefits Overtime available to boost your earnings. On-call rotation of 1 in 8 weeks with a standby allowance of £130 per week, increasing to £240 per week on bank holidays. Access to ongoing training and clear progression pathways.
