Perform effective preventive and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems. Conduct inspection and testing of equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing enhancements. Work closely with suppliers and contractors to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead maintenance improvement activities. Assist with mechanical engineering projects, including design and equipment selection. Complete training provided by the company (e.g., Confined Space, FLT, MEWP, COMPEX). Support the Plant Manager and, following training, take on the role of Emergency Response Coordinator. Develop and execute improvement plans for mechanical systems. What makes you a good fit
HND or degree qualified in mechanical engineering (or equivalent), with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant role. Comfortable working directly with mechanical systems and troubleshooting issues. Open to taking on relevant training and developing new skills. Understanding of COMAH site operations and maintenance systems is desirable. Able to identify problems and implement effective solutions. Flexible, communicative, and able to lead by example.
