In this role the person will be maintaining and servicing power generation equipment. In this role, you will be providing essential maintenance and repairs to Gensets (Gas Reciprocating Engines, CHP Engines and more) across landfill sites. From pre-planned to reactive maintenance, this is a crucial role where you will receive specialist training into Power Generation equipment to ensure the smooth running of plants. This is the ideal role for mechanical engineers with experience in engines looking to receive training into heavy industrial work. You will be looking to gain a skillset within the Power Generation sector, gaining a secure job for life due to the futureproof nature of both the industry and equipment you will be trained on. You will also be looking for a generous package and a role within an industry leader. The Role: Service and maintenance of heavy industrial engines, along with other power generation equipment such as CHP engines, Gas Reciprocating Engines and more. Preventative, reactive and breakdown services. Fault diagnosis - with record keeping and log taking. 1 in 5 call out rota - paid at a standby rate AND enhanced rate. The Candidate: Mechanical Engineer - experience in maintenance and repair. Time served or qualified. Experience in petrol / diesel engine maintenance / overhauls / repairs. Perfect for those in army, agricultural or heavy plant industries.
