The position would involve delivering Mechanical Engineering training up to level 3 at two sites (3 days in Carlisle, 2 days in Workington). Ideally, our client is seeking someone who can teach a combination of theory up to Level 3 and workshop skills in some or all of the following: Handskills, Mechanical Maintenance, Milling and Turning, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics. The role will start as a purely workshop-based delivery position but might expand to involve some work-based assessing once you settle in. The starting salary would be between 32,000 and 39,700 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and you would also receive a salary sacrifice pension (8% employee/10% employer), business mileage payments, and a holiday allocation of 36/37 days (including Bank Holidays). Relocators would be considered.
