Mechanical Estimator
with expertise in commercial mechanical projects. This role involves preparing accurate estimates for projects up to £1 million, with occasional larger projects up to £2.5 million, in sectors such as education, healthcare, and industrial facilities. About the Client Our client specializes in delivering high-quality mechanical solutions for schools, hospitals, prisons, industrial sites, and other commercial environments. Roles/Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for mechanical projects, including gas and pipework systems. Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with requirements. Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary information for project bids. Conduct site visits to assess project scope and verify details. Analyze and compare supplier quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness. Maintain meticulous records of estimates and bid submissions for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience in
mechanical estimating
for commercial projects. Familiarity with projects in education, healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience estimating projects valued at up to £1 million, with knowledge of larger-scale projects being a plus. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
