The Mechanical Fitter will assemble machined and bought-in parts to construct pneumatic regulators. Responsibilities:

Hydrostatic and function testing and certification of pressure regulators and control valves to agreed standards. Assembly of machined components and pressure setting to complete configuration of pneumatic regulators. Final machining on manual/CNC lathes and lapping of assembled trim. Machining one-off and complex components to customer specifications used in the production of valves and regulators. Use of a wide range of measuring equipment to check components. Routine machine maintenance. Experience of machining various metals. Minimum Qualifications, Training, and Experience Required:

Ideally qualified HNC/HND or higher in mechanical engineering or machining. Not less than 2 years hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing workshop. A comprehensive understanding of materials handling including crane driving and slinging. Additional Information:

Competitive salary. Flexible working hours including overtime opportunities. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Fridays 7:00 am to 12:30 pm. Generous holiday scheme: 25 days a year plus 8 statutory days. Pension contributions where the company pays up to 6%. Scope to progress within the company. Onsite parking. Sick pay. Apply to:
