We are actively recruiting multiple Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s team in Blyth. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in assembling and finishing welded and fabricated components to produce high-quality products. This opportunity suits skilled fitters with a solid foundation in mechanical work, proficiency with power and hand tools, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and fit welded and fabricated components according to engineering specifications Safely and effectively operate power tools and hand tools Conduct quality checks to ensure product accuracy and meet specification standards Collaborate within a team to meet production targets and deadlines Time-served or equivalent experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role Proficiency in metal assembly, welding, and fabrication Strong mechanical understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings Skilled in the use of both hand and power tools Desirable Certifications and Skills: MEWP Certification and Working at Height Certification (highly advantageous) Full driving license, Site Safety Passport Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts Additional Information:
