We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join a leading business dedicated to delivering quality products across the agriculture, aggregate, construction, waste management, and haulage industries.
Operating from their state-of-the-art Grantham manufacturing site, the company offers cutting-edge engineering and fabrication, ensuring top-tier quality from start to finish.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for a variety of fitting and welding tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with proven experience in electro-mechanical work, as well as a demonstrated ability to fault-find and solve problems in various settings, such as electrical, automotive, industrial maintenance, power generation, or production lines.
Shift Pattern - Monday – Thursday, 06:00 - 16:30
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical fitting and welding work
• Utilize electro-mechanical knowledge to identify and resolve issues
• Work within high-quality engineering standards and processes
• Collaborate with a skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven track record in mechanical fitting
• Competent in electro-mechanical systems with strong fault-finding skills
• Experience in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, automotive, industrial maintenance, power generation, or production lines)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
