Due to continued growth I’m currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for covering hydraulic presses along with other plant machinery.
Shift pattern for the Mechanical Fitter:
Monday – Thursday (6.00am – 16:00pm)
What’s on offer for the Mechanical Fitter:
Hourly rate up to £16.28 (DOE)
Duties of the Mechanical Fitter:
Work in a safe and responsible manner.
Timekeeping / attendance.
Maintenance of Press both preventive and reactive.
Timely response to all reactive breakdowns.
Flexibility to work around production requirements.
Critical spares stock.
Reliability of press – improvement projects.
Hydraulic system servicing and monitoring.
Engineering support across site.
Maintenance of other equipment within the department.
The successful candidate for the Mechanical Fitter position will have the following experience:
2 – 5 years’ experience working with Hydraulic presses (Essential)
Experience in updating and maintaining Maintenance systems (Essential)
Strong Administration skills (Essential)
