Mechanical Fitter (Maintenance)
Location: Buxton
Salary: Up to Circa £36,000 + Regular Overtime (1.5x - OTE Circa £45,000) + Increasing Holidays (Up to 25) + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training + Progression
Working Hours: Days Based 39 Hours per Week
Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 15:00, Friday - 06:00 - 11:00

Mechanical Fitter required for a heavy engineering company in the Buxton area. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer to join a growing company that offers fantastic training and regular optional overtime opportunities within a days-based position.
Responsibilities:
100% mechanical maintenance Working on crushers, screeners, grinders, and conveyors 85% Preventative Maintenance, 15% Reactive Maintenance Installation work
Candidate Requirements: Mechanically biased Any mechanical background; candidates from heavy manufacturing industry will have a considerable advantage Apprentice trained preferred, fabrication experience is advantageous but not essential Ex-forces candidates are encouraged to apply
The role involves working closely with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with approximately 15% of your time spent on reactive maintenance and installation work on exciting projects. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased candidate to join an expanding business that can offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment, further training, and regular overtime.
