We are now seeking to recruit an experienced Electromechanical Fitter/ Armature Winder with rotating machines experience to work at our Rugby site. Key Responsibilities & Accountability

Performing inspections and disassembly of rotating machines Understanding and interpreting mechanical and schematic drawings Conducting basic electrical testing to assess machine condition Accurately identifying damage and wear on AC/DC electric motors and other machinery Creating job reports and inspection check sheets Completing work to a high standard with a focus on first-time fixes Maintaining a methodical and accurate approach, documenting notes and reports during disassembly Submitting daily and weekly paperwork promptly and accurately Providing exceptional customer service Working independently and as part of a team Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

Requirements for this position include holding a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, such as a City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent Previous experience in an Electro-Mechanical environment is essential Knowledge of medium and large electrical rotating machines (High Voltage), AC & DC motors and generators is preferred The ability to travel for short durations for site work in both the UK and Overseas is necessary Proper and safe use of industry equipment during repairs is expected Parts should be prepared and assembled to required standards for testing Assembling machines to QA standards in a timely manner is required A strong commitment to personal and site safety, both in-house and on customer sites, is essential Possession of a full driving licence would be advantageous.
