Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with an established global engineering business in their search for Mechanical Fitters.
These are newly created positions as the company is growing rapidly in recent times.
The roles are full-time permanent vacancies working in their state-of-the-art premises in Glasgow.
What is required?
Time served apprenticeship Installation / Assembly of pumps and testing including their ancillary equipment. Pipework installation and rotor alignment. Participating in operational tests Dismantling and assembly of repair / service pumps for OE and aftermarket orders. Highlight any non-conformances Responsible for your own quality of work, self-inspection and completion of paperwork Assist in preparing/updating assembly documentation, programs, and tooling. Participate in continuous improvements within the workshop Perform maintenance activities on test department equipment as required Work with managers and other test department personnel to implement the company's policies and goals. Ensure that health, safety and environmental guidelines are followed. Provide on-going support and training to apprentices as required. Be available to undertake further training What to expect?
Shift work working Monday to Thursday (no Fridays) Salary of £53K including shift allowance Quarterly bonus Pension Life cover Option to buy and sell holidays
