Mechanical Fitter

I am recruiting for a workshop based Mechanical fitter to manufacture and assemble pieces of equipment. Main Responsibilities*To undertake projects to ensure that they comply with relevant customer specifications.*Modify & rebuild existing machines.*To manufacture new machines.*Ability to read and work from design drawings*To work and keep a selection of spare parts for the above machines.*To communicate and report progress to their manager on jobs.*To carry out work on site principally installation and maintenance both in the UK and abroad.*To report snagging details which may need identifying and correcting.*To work to a high standard through the manufacturing and rebuilding of the machines.*Work on own initiative clean and tidy area*To work within and follow Health and Safety guidelines.
