Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00 Friday: 07:30 - 13:00 Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to carry out fitting work in line with technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical fitting tasks. Fit and build various fan units, including large fans, motors, and heaters. Work from detailed technical drawings and instructions. Use hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys, and torque wrenches, as well as electric power tools. Operate measuring equipment, including Verniers and Micrometers. Handle large, heavy parts and components - physical fitness is essential for this position. Key Skills & Experience Required:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CMMs, and SOPs. Competency in working with SOPs alongside technical drawings. Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Experience using machines such as lathes and drills. Brazing experience is an advantage. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Background in Aerospace/Defence would be desirable. Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be eligible for BPSS Clearance. Must provide three years of verifiable employment history. CRB check and address verification are mandatory. Interested?
