Mechanical Assembly Fitter (Workshop based)Urmston , ManchesterContract length: 3-6 months (min 3 months)Shift Pattern: Days - 7:30am-4pm Mon-Thurs , 7:30-3pm Friday (39hrs min)Rate of pay: £22.00-£23.00p/h (Limited co./Umbrella)Mechanical / machinery build / SPM / fabrications / AssemblyI am working with a key global engineering & manufacturing client in Manchester, who specialise in the design, build and supply of bespoke special purpose machinery into packaging and FMCG industries. They are looking for Mechanically biased Assembly Fitters for an initial 2-3-month contract, with the opportunity for that to be extended further workload/project dependant.You will assist with mechanical fitting and assembly activities, working on a day shift (Mon-Fri), with the potential of overtime.As Mechanical Assembly Fitter, you will require to conduct the following duties:
