£16 - £18 Per Hour Our client is a leading electromechanical service provider. Due to expansion, they are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter and Winder to join their busy team! Mechanical Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:
Complete winding tasks to locate, repair or replace damaged coils or completely rewind all the wire coils used in electrical components. Be responsible for the repair of electrical motors, pumps, and gearboxes. Work with both high and low voltage rewinds to refurbish them. Bring their electromechanical knowledge to their workshop, specifically to rewind AC and DC motors, stators, armatures, and transformers. Complete and pass on all workshop documentation to the line manager. Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and complete daily tasks such as timesheets. Be available for call-out shifts or overtime as required. The ideal Mechanical Fitter will:
Have proven experience with electrical motors, pumps, gearboxes, and generators, specifically to rewind AC and DC motors, stators, armatures, and transformers. Be able to complete workshop documentation using a computer. Be flexible to work outside of standard working hours. Have knowledge and willingness to uphold health and safety protocols including PPE. Workshop Engineer Working Hours + Benefits:
