Quality Inspector
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector from a manufacturing / engineering environment.
We have worked with this client for several years; they offer a first-class working environment and the opportunity to work in the Manufacturing sector.
Quality Inspector - Main Duties: Performing Goods Inwards, Pre-Paint and Final Inspections. Measuring parts in accordance with engineering drawings using various types of measuring equipment, including external micrometers, 3-legged bore micrometers, stick micrometers, depth micrometers, verniers and gauges. Completing dimensional reports / inspection drawings. Visually inspecting parts for weld spatter, damage, burrs, paint quality, part marking etc. Completing inspection sign-off documentation. Stamping parts. Carrying out stencilling and paint touch-ups as required. Tapping threaded holes as required. Packing as required. Assembling parts as required. Working to deadlines.
Skills & Experience: Experience of inspecting machined parts. Desirable Experience of measuring parts using micrometers (External / Internal). Essential Experience of reading engineering drawings. Essential Excellent verbal and written skills. Essential Capable of working to deadlines. Essential Excellent multi-tasker, capable of managing several jobs at the same time. Essential Excellent organisational skills. Essential Ability to interact with customers and suppliers.
Salary / Hourly Rates: £18.13
Monday to Thursday: 06:45 to 15:15 Friday: 06:45 to 14:15
