Your Day to Day Duties in the Role You will be involved in the machining of products ready for the next stage of the process. Experience/Skills and Education Requirements Ability to read engineering drawings Ability to read engineering quality plans Ability to use a wide range of inspection equipment (Micrometres, Verniers, etc.) Detailed inspection of a wide range of precision components and fabrications in accordance with engineering drawings and written specifications. Good organisational skills, record keeping, and ability to prioritise tasks. Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative to think through problems and find solutions within agreed guidelines. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to question a process and suggest possible improvements. Experience Experience in all inspection functions and activities. Experience of operating computing equipment for data processes. Experience of inspection within the nuclear industry is desired. Working knowledge of measurement instruments. Working knowledge of NDE techniques and applications. Solid background of technical understanding. Quality Engineering. Manufacturing Methods and Procedures. Supports Innovation. Hours of Work The role is on days. The work is on a permanent basis.
