We have a new opportunity to be part of the Quality team in the role of Mechanical Inspector - Night Shift. In this role you will be required to: Assure the quality of internally and externally manufactured metallic components meet the required standard. Attend and proactively participate in meetings as required. Work proactively, responsibly, and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure. Maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge of machine manufacturing processes and Inspection techniques. Perform any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role. Key skills: Possess an excellent working knowledge of machining processes. Possess a thorough understanding of PcDmis and Polyworks Metrology Suites. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines, Absolute arms, Shadowgraphs, Contour Tracers, and handheld measuring equipment. The ability to read technical drawings. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as IFS, SAP or similar. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Previous experience as Mechanical Inspector or similar in a Formula One environment / high level Motorsport environment would be advantageous. Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales. Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards working hours. Communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues. Have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment. Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills. Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues. Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.
