Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 12pm Overtime:
1.5x basic rate (5-10 hours per week available)
Syntech are searching for a Mechanical Inspector for our aerospace client based nearby to Uxbridge. Working on a life-saving product, you will be inspecting machined and goods in components using a variety of engineering hand tools and technical drawings.
Mechanical Inspector Duties:
Inspect components using tools such as verniers, calipers and micrometres Read technical engineering drawings to inspect components correctly Create inspection documentation that is accurate Record all your work via SAP Document all non-confirming products
Mechanical Inspector Profile:
Proven capability to read engineering drawings to a high level Experience using hand tools such as verniers, calipers and micrometres Knowledge of GD&T symbols and drawings The ability to read in metric and imperial measurements is ideal CMM experience is ideal but not essential Background in Aerospace / Automotive / Motorsport / Subcontract ideally
