Annual Salary :

£57,000 p/a

Hours : Monday-Friday 7.5 Hour shifts

Week 1: Mornings (6am - 1:30pm)

Week 2: Afternoons (1:30pm - 9pm)

Week 3: Days (8am-3:30pm)

Week 4: Evenings (9pm - 6am Sunday-Thursday)

Benefits :

Overtime paid at X1.5 (£41.82 p/h) for all hours worked over 40, 33 Days Holiday including bank holidays, Private Healthcare, 5% Company Pension, Company provided uniform & PPE.

Auxtronic is partnered with a 50-year experienced manufacturing business that has recently secured significant investment and is looking to expand their engineering team.

Having increased sales revenue by an impressive 28% in the last year, the parent company now turns over in excess of £1.5bn and operates across 70 site locations employing over 7,000 people.

Their industry is recession-proof and thanks to increasing sectors such as Food, Distribution, and Recycling, their business is thriving with customer demands filling their order book throughout 2025.

The plant in Banbury has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on Monday to Friday shifts.

The role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Machinery list:

Conveyors, pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, presses, forming machines, and various other bespoke equipment.

60% Reactive Maintenance (Breakdown maintenance). Fault finding and repairing machinery. 20% Project work installing/commissioning new machinery. 20% PPM Maintenance, carrying out routine maintenance on equipment across the plant. Hiring requirements:

City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance, ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship. 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a high-speed manufacturing environment. Mechanical skills required with a strong competency in fault finding and repairing machinery. About Auxtronic
