Completing planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools and facilities Continuing to develop the planned preventative maintenance procedures emphasising on breakdown prevention The installation and/or modifying of equipment as required Conducting a root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement effective reoccurrence prevention plans using resource available Working as part of the maintenance team ensuring good communication skills in interfacing with other departments, suppliers, contractors and manufacturers as required Operating access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers Using the PC for accessing information, emails and completing reports Training and mentoring apprentices Shifts:
You'll be on a shift pattern involving 7-7 days and nights on a rotation that involves working 10 shifts in a 21 day cycle, with NO WEEKEND work involved. Who we are looking for:
Time served mechanical engineer, with experience in a high volume manufacturing environment Good organisational skills, being self-motivated and having a hands-on approach to problem solving with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team is essential.
