Monday to Friday DAYS ARE YOU A MECHANICALLY BIASED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT? Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer who is renowned and well-respected in their industry. They are an employer who genuinely looks after their staff and invests in their people. The role would suit maintenance engineers with a strong mechanical bias. Engineers who have experience working within a heavy manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply. Engineers must be apprentice trained or equivalent in a mechanical discipline. Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for mechanical maintenance on a wide range of production and process machinery. Working to strict H&S guidelines, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance. You will also have involvement in mechanical improvement projects and CI activities. You will work within a large state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which has a wide range of heavy production machinery. The successful engineer will benefit from a varied role, assisting in the guidance and mentoring of mechanical apprentices on site.
