We have an amazing opportunity for a talented and driven Mechanical Engineer to join our client's business in Goole.
This vacancy would suit an Engineer with a Mechanical bias. Other job titles that would be considered include: Line Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Line Fitter, Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, Dual Skilled Engineer, or Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical not essential).
Salary and hours of work:
Salary is £35,000 per year Monday to Friday days (Early finish on the Friday)
The Role: Creating and maintaining maintenance procedures. Create and maintain a new Preventative Maintenance Plan. Contractors' documentation checks and controls. Direct responsibility for 1 report - Maintenance Fitter. Holds position of Deputy Fire Warden for the site. Responsible for all site maintenance and engineering functions. Lead research and development projects that produce new designs, products, and processes. Coordinate work with other managers and staff.
Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or Apprentice trained / time-served Mechanical Engineer. Minimum 4 years hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Track record of successfully leading Engineering initiatives, projects, or programs from conception to implementation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Genuine passion for engineering with a commitment to continuous improvement.
