Continental shift pattern Our client is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their Contract in Hammersmith. You will be overseeing Mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance as well as other Mechanical duties. The candidate will be rewarded with a fantastic package including £44,000 salary, clear progression path, overtime, pension, and career stability. Package: £44,000 salary – Will increase for the right candidate Overtime 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, plus the option to purchase an additional 5 days leave every year Company pension scheme Career pathways to further career Life Assurance Private Medical Insurance Duties: As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless performance of mechanical systems across the site. Conducting routine maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC, boilers, pumps, and plumbing. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and industry best practices. Responding to reactive maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime in critical healthcare operations. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional service delivery. Requirements: Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a healthcare or highly regulated environment. Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to maintenance. Knowledge: Familiarity with statutory requirements such as HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) guidelines is highly desirable. Attributes: Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
