Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter Salary:

£45,000 per annum + overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 + benefits and opportunities to progress up through their salary grades and receive enhancements Hours:

4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm (shift 1 and 2) / 7am to 7pm (shift 3) / 6pm to 6am (shift 4) Location:

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to work within a manufacturing company at one of their leading automated factories. You will benefit from a friendly and loyal team of Engineers working in this fast-paced environment. The role is varied and enjoyable where you can expect to be challenged, be supported, and help continuously improve machinery. Your role will include, although not limited to: Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery. Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs. Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines, and replacing worn parts. Requirements

Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualification. Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments - most considered. Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery. Any experience of SOME of the following; Belts, Chains, Gear Boxes, Pumps, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Fabricating etc. Motivated and driven to succeed. Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company.
