This is a day position Monday - Friday working 08:00 - 17:00 with 1 hour lunch break for two Maintenance Engineers in a busy Central and West University, with a very good basic salary, lots of overtime opportunity and great stability for the future; you will be joining a very well-established contract with a service provider who has held the contract for seven years.
In this role as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be joining one of the most successful maintenance service providers in London. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Planned Preventative Maintenance of all Mechanical systems relating to HVAC plant Cyclical inspection of Air Conditioning units, Pumps and Valves Ensuring that all statutory building compliance is upheld such as L8 requirements Attending to breakdowns and failure of associated ancillary plant Installation of new pipework, valves, sanitary ware, filters and seals About You as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Fully Qualified in Mechanical or Plumbing with certificates, ideally apprentice trained Commercial Mechanical or Plumbing experience with some additional skills in Building Services Steady and progressive work history Experienced in large scale building services applications Desire to progress in your career This is a very busy university, there is a large resident engineering team with full management backup and administrative support. There is also a small army of visiting specialist sub-contractors that will need managing and support from specialist mobile services.
