Overtime available (OTE £40,000+)

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Shifts: Days, Full time - Permanent Position

Responsibilities for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineering role:

Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, the Engineering Maintenance Engineer will have a strong sense of safety awareness and be able to demonstrate an understanding of mechanical drive systems, pressure vessels, pneumatic controls, heat exchange units, utility distribution, lubrication methods and materials, fluid sealing methods, and pipe fitting.

Mig/MMA Welding Working on various machines - Centre Lathes, Milling machines, Bending press, band saws and Pillar Drills. Routine planned and preventive Maintenance. Fault Finding & Diagnostics. Completing basic reports. Use power and hand tools to perform a variety of tasks including machine repair and mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience: HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Production and/or Manufacturing background. Experience working with PLCs, Variable Speed drives, compressors, boilers, water treatment plants, and fire sprinkler systems would be an advantage. Proven Mechanical Engineering Background
