What You Will Do:

Maintain plant equipment to the highest standards, ensuring all machinery runs smoothly and efficiently. Complete preventative maintenance tasks, reducing downtime and enhancing productivity. Get involved in exciting project work, including the installation and relocation of both new and existing equipment. Uphold safe working practices, ensuring all activities comply with health and safety standards. Accurately record and document work completed using state-of-the-art PC/Mobile based maintenance software. Work across multi-site locations when required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-player attitude.

What You Will Bring: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter within the steel industry. A thorough understanding of mechanical fitting and maintenance practices. Proven experience in maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems. A strong understanding of safe systems of work and an excellent attention to detail. Desirable: Experience in power press maintenance & repairs, and a formal qualification in mechanical engineering/maintenance.
