Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £18.32 Per hour (£39,312) + Overtime Opportunities Available paid at 1.5x, over 6 hours or a Sunday paid at 2x + 31 Days Holiday + Pension + Life Assurance + Product Discount Scheme and Cash Back Schemes + Workwear provided + Course Funded Training Available as well as on-the-job training + Annual Tool Allowance up to £120 per annum.
Working Hours: Week 1: Mon - Fri 2pm-10pm, Week 2: Mon - Fri 6am-2pm, Sun 10pm - 6am, Week 3: Mon- Thurs 10 pm - 6am.
About the Role: Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to work in a team that can offer dedicated training on their machinery and varied production areas. This role is within a personable team with a very low turnover in staff on site.
Responsibilities: Split between PPM (Nights Bias) and Reactive Maintenance (Days Bias). Mechanical work on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, bearings, pipework, and steam systems (Experience of all the above is not required as training can be provided). Updating maintenance system and handing over to the following shift team. Working as part of a mixed team of electrical and mechanical engineers. Working on varied production lines, including mill machinery, biomass, and treatment plant.
The Successful Maintenance Engineer: You will have previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer within an industrial environment or similar. Any mechanical qualifications will be advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
