Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- Romford - £42,000 Location: Romford, Essex Salary: £42,000 Hours: Days Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM
PRS are currently recruiting for a
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
to be based in Romford, Essex. The successful candidate will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in Electrical building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £42,000.
Duties:
Monitor mechanical plant Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning) Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing) Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc. Monitor the BMS systems. Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc.) General building fabric Escort specialist subcontractors Ensure that the Contractual efficiently meets all the relevant KPI & SLA requirements.
Requirements:
City & Guilds Qualified Electrical Level 2. Good building services knowledge. Excellent client-facing skills.
Package:
40 hours per week Monday to Friday / On Call week Mon - Sun (rest day Thurs and Friday) On Call rota which can range from 1 in 4 to 1 in 6 dependent on absences On Call retainer £1190 (annual) Authorised Person Duties £500 per duty max two 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Pension Scheme Career Progression opportunities Overtime
