The Opportunity: Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organization in Reading, where you will be an integral part of the maintenance team, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems across the site.

Responsibilities: Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on mechanical systems and equipment. Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems, pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment. Carry out routine inspections and performance testing of mechanical systems. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of work performed, using the company's maintenance management system. Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve operational goals. Skills and Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in commercial or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, and other mechanical components. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety. DV or SC clearance.
