A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is sought for a Hospital Contract in Swindon, UK. The successful candidate will have

excellent mechanical maintenance skills , experience working within a commercial environment, and knowledge of building services. Main Responsibilities:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete associated paperwork and reports. Conduct Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, completing the necessary documentation. Participate in a call-out rota to provide full out-of-hours cover. Oversee visiting sub-contractors regarding standard of work and Health and Safety. Adopt a flexible attitude in assisting on other properties within the portfolio. Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time. Work safely and diligently, adhering to Health and Safety policies. Requirements:

Certification in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ) or equivalent. Experience in a commercial setting, preferably within a hospital or R&D environment. Good understanding of building services and ability to work in a team environment. Pass a DBS check. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000, plus benefits including holiday entitlement, overtime, training, and progression opportunities.
