About the Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining site operations by overseeing engineering and maintenance repairs, handling breakdowns, and executing planned and preventative maintenance schedules. Key Responsibilities Conduct all engineering and maintenance repairs on-site Efficiently handle machinery breakdowns and ensure equipment safety Maintain firefighting systems and ensure staff are fully trained on safety standards Coordinate maintenance priorities and manage inventory of critical spares Oversee building upkeep and manage schedules for maintenance teams About You This position is ideal for a candidate with experience in mechanical maintenance. Experience is a fast-paced environment is desirable but not essential. Key Skills Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship OR time-served relevant experience Desirable: Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or refrigeration (certification is a plus) Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working autonomously Working Hours Continental Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off Day Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00; Night Shifts: 18:00 - 06:00 Benefits Ongoing training and development opportunities High overtime potential Why Join Us?
