This position offers a chance to transition from hands-on work to a surveying role, focusing on testing and inspecting lifting equipment. We are seeking a mechanical professional with lifting equipment experience to build a long-term career with a world-leading organization that invests significantly in employee development. You will manage your own diary and benefit from continuous training and advancement opportunities. The person: We are looking for an HNC level educated professional with experience in maintaining and servicing lifting equipment and mobile plant (e.g., MEWPs, excavators, lifting tackle, HIABs, powered access). A willingness to learn new skills and expand your mechanical knowledge is crucial for this career-focused role. Inspection knowledge or background in LOLER and PUWER regulations would be advantageous. The role: This position will utilize your mechanical knowledge while teaching you skills related to the testing and inspection of pressure systems. You will inspect lifting equipment across various sectors, including marine, agriculture, manufacturing, power plants, and airports. Training can last up to 6 months, providing ample opportunity to develop new skills.
