As a mechanical maintenance engineer, you are required to undertake pre-planned and reactive maintenance.

The Role:

Within the remit of the role, you will be undertaking mechanically biased machinery on a range of FMCG machinery on site. The role is split between planned and reactive maintenance within the facility, and all engineers will be actively involved in helping set up PPM's weekly and installation work on a project basis.

Most of the role will revolve around front-line mechanical maintenance, and so experience working in a pressurized maintenance role is required. You will be working on a range of equipment from conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and bearings.

As a skilled and meticulous Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be well organized and capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines on a rotating shift pattern.

Requirements: Mechanical maintenance background - Pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearings Mechanical maintenance skills/aptitude From manufacturing or FMCG Experience working within manufacturing or industrial Mechanical qualification or apprenticeship
