DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN HEAVY/INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS?Mechanical Maintenance Lead required for a well-established manufacturer who are renowned and well respected in their industry. They are an employer who genuinely looks after their staff and invests in their people.The Mechanical Maintenance Lead role would suit mechanical engineers or mechanical fitters with previous experience implementing and developing maintenance and reliability programs. Engineers will ideally be time served, apprentice trained or equivalent.Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical engineering activities for plant, production, and project requirements. You will work within a large state of the art manufacturing facility which has a wide range of heavy production machinery. You will prioritise developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance and reliability programs for the foundry as well as the identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost saving initiatives and overseeing preventative and corrective maintenance activities to minimise down time. The role is a 60/40 split of office-based activities and shop floor work. You will ideally become the Mechanical Technical expert onsite.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well renowned manufacturer who are extremely successful within their industry.
